Ladies Lunch

Mommy wanted to write this next blog entry so I will let her take over for a few paragraphs . . .

What a blessing it has been to spend my maternity leave lunching with these two wonderful women, Michelle and Blakely and their boys (Luke and Ashton). We talk about everything under the sun from babies to work to church to . . . well, everything! Thank you, Michelle and Blakely for being such amazing friends. I hope that we can continue our lunches once we all go back to work.

I have to tell this story because both Blakely and Michelle posted it on their blogs as well. Look closely at Audrey in this picture - yes, she is working on a project! Just as the waitress was counting to take the picture, my little, demure Audrey (the only girl in the baby group) lets out a BIG toot! Way to go Audrey!
Michelle and I took this picture for the Lyre - we are both Alpha Chi's (Michelle at Louisiana Tech and me at Northwestern) and wanted our babies to be pictured in our Alpha Chi magazine . . . we'll let you know if they make the cut! It definitely is a small world, and it is so fun to find long lost sorority sisters! (and as Michelle wrote on her blog . . . the kids are staring intently at a ceiling fan and light. Ah, the simple pleasures in life!)

THe "toot" she must take after her daddy (kind of runs in the family I think, sorry Audrey!) She is getting cuter each post and makes me more anxious to meet her. I hate we don't all live closer to be there for things like dedications. I'm so glad you atleast have one set of grandparents. My kids have missed out on all that all their lives. It makes me sad, but can't be helped. Please know we will try to be at the big things, and even if we can't we love you and are praying for your sweet family. Love Aunt Livona
