Summer Time!

Wow - it's been such a busy summer I've hardly posted any pictures lately! Mommy, Daddy, Clara and I went to Grammy and Boogie's for about 5 days in June to help Grammy recover from heart surgery. I am pleased to report that she is doing VERY well. I helped her a lot with my smiles and my newly acquired skill - clapping! I clapped for her every time she did her breathing tests - I know that helped her do better each time. Next was Father's Day! We went to church, out to lunch at CPK with the Yorks, and Daddy cooked out steaks on the grill. Tons of fun!

We had my friend Ashton and his parents Mr. Wes and Mrs. Blakely over for a swim and cook-out last week. Ashton and I had a fun time playing. However, he was not too happy when I swiped his bottle from him. Hey, you snooze you lose!

Mommy was a little late with my 10 month photo shoot, but here are a couple of pictures featuring me clapping and giving a classic grin. I was a bit harder for Mommy to take pictures this time as I ventured off of the blanket several times. (While I don't love the texture of grass, I was willing to risk a little discomfort to satisfy my curiosity about the big, wide yard. Wow, there was a lot to see!)
