So I guess the Easter Bunny already had the chicken pox, so he was able to visit my house despite the germs. Here's what he left!
Here was Mommy's fancy breakfast (she got all into the Food Network on Saturday and this is what became of it): Eggs in a (hashbrown) basket. Pretty yummy, if you ask me (and Daddy!)Here I am checking out my loot. The favorites so far are the bus and the Elmo's World DVD's in teh car on the way to Grammy and Boogie's house.
I was NOT a fan of the purple flower headband . . . I kept it on just long enough for Mommy to snap this quick photo. Are you happy, Mommy?
So Mommy, Daddy and I have been reading a book for about a month now about what Easter is all about. It talked about how Spring brings new flowers, baby animals, and Easter - a day we celebrate when Jesus came back to life to save all of us. There are two whole pages about how we go to church on Easter to sing to Jesus and celebrate what he did for us. I am still looking for the fine print that says if you have chicken pox, you cannot go to church. But apparently, that is the case. Mommy and I had to stay home today, while Daddy celebrated for us (and played his trumpet - beautifully, I'm sure!) Don't worry - I won't be gone from church for long!
