Foster Family Blog: Happy 3rd Birthday, Audrey!

Audrey is turning into quite the young lady. She is FULL of energy, loves to laugh, and talks and talks. She loved Monkey Joe's this summer, kicking the soccer ball, the pool, being a big sister, and her favorite movies were Finding Nemo (thus the B'day party theme), Beauty and the Beast (or "Beauty Beast") and The Wizard of Oz. Some fun Audrey quotes of late are:
"That sounds like a good idea"; "Hey darlin'" (quoting Mommy when talking to Eva); "I've got some things"; "I love you so much"; and "Let's do it!" We love our little girl and can't believe she is growing up so fast!

Here she is on her actual birthday with a celebratory giant cupcake. The little doll on top was mine when I was a little girl (I've got all the way to 16!)

Make a wish!

Audrey had three of her friends (all boys) over for her party. We played water games in the back yard and enjoyed lunch together. The theme was fish/Finding Nemo. However, the gift theme was - you guessed it - PRINCESS dress up clothes!

Unkie Will finally brings it out (and re-lights the candles that blew out). What a HUGE help Unkie Will was at the party! (and thanks for the Thomas tracks and the addition of James to our train family!)

Mimi feeds princess Audrey :) (Yes, she can eat on her own, but if there's someone around, she always puts them to work!)

Grammy, Mimi and Cups

Grammy was a HUGE help in preparing for the party - from finding decorations and the cake to bringing sandwich wraps from (you guessed it) - Costco! She also hung out with Eva for most of the party.
