We spent over a week celebrating sweet Audrey's 4th Birthday. Audrey is growing into quite the young lady. She loves playing pretend (particularly mommy, doctor and dress up), board games and cards (Candy Land and Cat in the Hat are favorites), Madeline doll, books and movies, Bernstain Bears, and singing (Joy to the World is a particular favorite - even in AUGUST!) She has lots of friends and enjoys school. She knows her letters and numbers and is working on writing. Her Leap Pad/newest birthday present is helping her practice writing her letters OVER and OVER and OVER. Now more about the week long celebration:
First up . . . .
A trip to the Fox Theater to SEE Peter Pan!
And to MEET Peter Pan!
(Cathy Rigby, who is almost 60 years old - WOW, is in her final year touring as Peter Pan. We stood in line to meet her and she signed Audrey's poster "Happy 4th Birthday, Audrey" and gave her a big hug. What a special memory!)
Next it was out to breakfast for the birthday girl!
And then it was time to PARTY! (And if you can't tell, the theme was Ice Cream :))
